Drvenik Veli is a small island located in the central Dalmatian archipelago in Croatia, situated between the islands of Mali Drvenik and Šolta. It’s only 3 nautical miles from the Blue Lagoon in Croatia and about 8 nautical miles from the town of Trogir. The island has an area of 12.07 square kilometers and is home to the village of Drvenik Veli, which has a population of 168.
The coast of Drvenik Veli is rugged and features many bays with sandy and pebbly beaches, including the beautiful Solinska Bay on the south side of the island and Krknjaši, known as the Blue Lagoon, on the east side. The village of Drvenik Veli has a few restaurants, an apartment, a bakery, and a small store. The locals are friendly and welcoming, and the island’s unspoiled nature and peaceful environment make it a perfect destination for a quiet and intimate holiday.
